Festival Activities 2024:

7:00 AM
Start the day traditionally with pig slaughtering followed by a hearty breakfast: fried blood with pickles and fresh bread, accompanied by a shot of pálinka.

Enjoy freshly made sausage and black pudding available all morning.

  • “Kurta Tour” – A short walk from the Community House to the Cave Houses.
  • “Pork Knuckle Tour” – Another route leading from the Community House to the Salt Hill.
  • Music and Dance – Performances by Rozmaring Women’s Choir, Borvirág Men’s Choir, and Többsincs Folk Dance Group. Music provided by Egerszalóki Tekergő Band.

Lunch time offers Bean Soup, Stuffed Cabbage paired with local wine, and delicious homemade desserts.

Evening brings the Pork Feast Ball at the Kaptárkő Cellar, featuring a scrumptious pork dinner, live music, and a raffle to keep the spirits high.
