From March 15th to 17th, 2024, Balatonfüred welcomes spring with its traditional event, the Füredi Spring Festival (Füredi Tavaszi Fesztivál 2024 Balatonfüred). This vibrant celebration offers a myriad of activities spanning across three days, embodying the spirit of renewal and the joy of spring’s arrival.

March 15th Highlights:
- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Playhouse for children (Vaszary Gallery)
- 10:30 AM: Festive program, commemoration, wreath-laying (Tagore Promenade, Széchenyi Statue) with speeches by notable figures and performances by artistic students and actors.
- 6:00 PM: Torchlight procession in the Small Forest, featuring performances by local music and dance groups, celebrating Hungarian historical and cultural heritage.
March 16th Programs:
- 10:00 AM: “Paprika Jancsi” puppet show (Kisfaludy Gallery), bringing the adventures of the ever-joyful and helpful Paprika Jancsi to life.
- 4:00 PM: “Destroy to Create” – An exhibition opening on Lajos Kassák’s magazines and avant-garde art (Vaszary Gallery), including a guided tour.
