Embark on a gastronomic journey at the third annual Pork Feast Weekend in Fertőrákos, a festival celebrated for revitalizing the age-old tradition of pig slaughtering with an expansive program that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Throughout Fertőrákos, restaurants, wineries, and pubs roll out the red carpet, offering an assortment of pork dishes and wine tastings that echo the region’s rich culinary heritage.

Cooking Competition Details

Teams are responsible for supplying at least 5kg of pork belly along with cauldrons, gas cylinders, and other essential cooking tools. Organizers will provide beer tables, cooking spaces, tents, and ensure a great atmosphere all day. Refreshments including draft beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available at the buffet. Teams of 4-8 participants can register by February 20, 2023, via email at rendezveny@fertorakos.hu.

Saturday, February 25, 2023 – Event Schedule

  • 1:30 PM: Gather at the big tent for the start of the festivities.
  • 2:00 PM: Official opening ceremony.
  • 2:30 PM: Big Mouse Band takes the stage.
  • 4:00 PM: Performance by IRIGY HÓNALJMIRIGY.
  • 6:30 PM: Announcement of competition winners.
  • 8:00 PM: Groovehause performance.
  • 9:30 PM: Retro party with DJ Angler until 2:00 AM closing.

Music by DJ Angler fills the air throughout the day between main events.
