A Culinary Gathering in Vadna (Vadna)
Join them on March 9, 2024, for the 11th edition of the Vadnai Sausage Filling Festival, hosted at the Göőz Pál Cultural House and Library (Göőz Pál Művelődési Ház és Könyvtár). This beloved gastronomic event draws participants not only from the local community but also from neighboring towns, all eager to showcase their sausage-filling skills.
A Day Full of Entertainment and Delight
The festival is a full-day event enhanced with stage performances, concerts, and of course, the main attraction: the sausage filling. Here’s what you can expect:
- 13:30-14:00 Gathering of Teams, Opening Ceremony (Csapatok gyülekezése, Megnyitó)
- 14:00-16:00 Sausage Filling with live music by Agyagbanda (Kolbásztöltés – Agyagbanda nótázik)
- 16:00-19:00 Stage Show (Színpadi műsor)
- 19:00 Jury Evaluation, Announcement of Winners (Zsűri értékelése, eredményhirdetés)
- 19:15 Raffle Draw (Tombolahúzás)

Participation Fees:
- Team Members: 3990 HUF/person, including a welcome drink, meat, and intestines (participants need to bring their filling and grinding equipment)
- Guest Ticket: 2990 HUF/person, enjoy the festival’s activities from 2 PM to midnight, including a serving of roasted sausage
- Children under 14: Free admission!
- Dance Ticket: 2000 HUF/person, available after 7 PM for those who wish to join the dance floor
