Budapest’s 2026 concert calendar is stacked. From arena-filling rock legends to first-time Hungarian appearances, here’s what’s confirmed — and what you should book now before tickets disappear.

June: The Heavy Hitters

Metallica M72 World Tour

June 11 & 13 | Puskás Aréna

The big one. Metallica returns after 8 years with their “No Repeat Weekend” concept — two nights, completely different setlists, different support acts each night.

  • Night 1 (June 11): Pantera, Avatar
  • Night 2 (June 13): Gojira, Knocked Loose

If you’re only doing one night, Night 2 has the better support lineup. If you’re a completist, do both.

Sting 3.0

June 18 | MVM Dome

Sting strips it back to a three-piece band for his 3.0 tour. Expect career-spanning material presented with the intimacy a smaller format allows.

Scorpions 60th Anniversary Tour

June 20 | MVM Dome

Six decades of German rock, one anniversary tour. If you want anthems, this delivers.

Summer Stadium Shows

Pitbull — I’m Back!

July 21 | Puskás Aréna

Mr. Worldwide’s first-ever Hungarian show. Special guest Lil Jon warms up the stage. This will be loud, sweaty, and unapologetically fun.

IDLES

July 8 | Budapest Park

British post-punk at its most uncompromising. IDLES’ live shows are cathartic, political, and genuinely exhausting (in the best way). First headline Budapest concert.

Mac DeMarco

June 23 | Budapest Park

The laid-back indie king returns after nearly a decade away. Material from his latest album Guitar alongside older favourites. Chill vibes guaranteed.

Spring Highlights

Pentatonix

April 7 | MVM Dome

The a cappella phenomenon opens their 2026 European tour in Budapest. Last here in 2023 — new material, new production.

5 Seconds of Summer

April 24 | MVM Dome

Aussie pop-rock. New album Everyone’s a Star! plus decade-spanning hits. Teen crowds likely, music solid.

Eric Clapton

May 2 | MVM Dome

First Budapest show in 20 years. Slowhand returns. If you missed him in 2006, don’t miss him now.

Booking Tips

  1. Buy early: Major shows sell out fast, especially Metallica
  2. Use official channels: LiveNation, Cooltix, venue box offices
  3. Check resale carefully: Viagogo and similar sites have markup and risk
  4. Combine with travel: June is peak concert + summer weather season
