Who it suits

How long to plan: 60 to 90 minutes
The operator gives 60 to 90 minutes for a visit. Because the exhibition is free flow, the time is yours: stay longer in the rooms that hold you, sit for a while, let an installation run through again. Plan about an hour and a half, and arrive a few minutes early, because your ticket is for a set time slot and the operator asks visitors to be punctual.
Slots start every 30 minutes from 10:00, and the last one is at 21:00. If you are planning an evening visit, book a slot by 20:30 for the full 90 minutes before closing. One exception in October: on Friday 9 October 2026 the last regular slot is 16:30, because the evening is a live concert by Takkra in the exhibition (19:30 to 22:00).

A tour gives the rooms context, with the stories and connections behind the installations, which makes it a good choice for a first visit.
Access, children, cloakroom and photos
- Wheelchair access. The operator says the exhibition is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific needs, contact the venue before your visit (hello@cinemamystica.hu, +36 20 212 12 42) so it can prepare a comfortable visit.
- Children. All ages are welcome, but some rooms are dark and the visual effects are strong, which can frighten smaller children. Parental guidance is recommended for visitors under 12, and a hand to hold in the darker rooms helps.
- Cloakroom. Coats and small bags can go in the cloakroom. If you are traveling with larger luggage, ask the venue about storage in advance, or drop your bags at your accommodation first.
- Food and drink. Not allowed inside the exhibition. The Párisi Udvar area has plenty of cafés and restaurants for before or after.
- Photos. Photos and short videos for personal use are welcome in most rooms. Flash and professional equipment are not allowed.
Getting there
The address is Ferenciek tere 10, 1052 Budapest, inside the Párisi Udvar. Ferenciek tere is the nearest stop for the M3 metro, buses and trams, so it is a short ride from anywhere in the center. Váci utca starts around the corner, and the Danube embankment is a few minutes away on foot.
After an evening visit, a walk north along the river to the Chain Bridge after dark rounds off the night nicely. For another late indoor stop, the Pinball Museum is open into the evening on several days of the week.
